then he came out to the green movement. Since early 1990, he has designed the campaign of green mind
communication, for instance, his master thesis, personal promotion design, and even client's project. He
published ¡¸Green Eye; Life¡¹ this year, in which he displays a child's view on the sustainable life of nature and for
human beings. In this book, he also proposes 'The Womb Logic', whose basic conception combines nature and
human beings.
He has worked mainly for event-designs, such as significant event-design for 'Michael Jackson's memorable
concert in Seoul'. Meanwhile, he has been working for advertising, booklets, public design, and CI/BI design for an
international event.
For the past 15 years, he has been consulting the Samsung group, Cheil Communications and the-Chosun-Ilbo
(the largest daily-news in Korea) advertisement team, where he played a key role in making the CANNE adverting
award go to Korea. He got several poster designs award such as New York Festival, extra.

Byoung Won Choi has designed a collection of images addressing the conflict between personal
desire and the need to save our planet from ourselves. He has accompanied the images with his
musings, creating a visual/verbal language which presents one man's plea to find solutions to our
excessive use of non-renewal fossil fuels, the effects of global warming, and the pending loss of
the natural world, its inhabitants, and it's beauty. He has employed recognizable images which relate
directly to our lives.
For example, he celebrates leisure activities and fashion, thereby objectifying the fun and frivolous
aspects of our lives while constantly reminding us of how materialism may come at a dire cost. It is
not wish to eliminate the conveniences our modern world has provided for us but to find a way to
engage our collective creativity to balance, ecologically, desire and need.
We still have much to learn from the mistakes our industrial society has wrought as we struggle
between convenience and conservation. It is hope that the conflict can be resolved as we alter the
practices of our daily lives to make the earth safe for future generations of all creatures.
